If you haven’t heard the UAB Gospel Choir you’re missing a treat!  I’ve heard my Alma mater’s Gospel Choir on a few occasions and each time I’ve been impressed.  I recently shot some images from a summer concert with a lite version of the choir, and they still sounded amazing.  They’ve produced several CD’s over the years and have become world renowned in their own right.  They’ve recently appeared on NBC’s Today Show and regularly tour the US and other countries performing.  The choir, directed by Kevin Turner, also has an awesome concert coming up this November, titled “Gospel Anthology II: The Church & The Civil Rights Movement.”  I plan to attend the concert to see the & hear the full choir at its best.  To find out more about the choir, visit their website.  Please take a moment to enjoy a few images from the summer concert…
